I make no income from this site, in fact it costs me a little to run it! I originally created this website when I built my first wooden boat, the website code is now 13 years old, and will require a complete rewrite to continue funtioning properly. JK Wood Studio is my hobby, not my business. I do not sell anything or provide any services related to woodworking. I have provided this website as a way of sharing my experiences woodworking, especially building wooden boats. I built my first boat at the LPBMM's boat building school in Madisonville, LA and that's where most of the boat building pictures on this site where taken.
I keep this site running because it gets many visitors every month and I know many of those visitors use it for reference when they build their own wooden boat. I design and host many websites in my work (see About) and provide this site to you free of charge.
